Om Leilei Tian

Biography:
Leilei Tian: was born in 1971 in China. She studied composition at Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and got her Master Degree of Art. She continued her further study at Conservatory of Music in Gothenburg in Sweden. After that she attended the one-year master class for electro-acoustic music in IRCAM in Paris.

She is the winner of several prestigious international awards such as prize for Besançon Composition Competition for orchestra in France, Contemporary Music Contest "Citta' di Udine" in Italy, Gaudeamus Competition in Amsterdam, Composition Competition of GRAME in Lyon, ISCM Cash Young Composer’s Award of “World Music Days ” in Zürich, Järnåkepriset for Chamber Music in Sweden and Rome Prize by the Academy of France in Italy.

Her compositions have been widely performed and well received internationally.
